SAHRSA League Registration and Membership Fee Structure

Effective January – December

 SAHRSA operates as a sport league, and registration consists of two key components:

1. Once-Off Registration Fee (R100)

• Payable once only by:
  • All new applicants, or
  • Returning members who did not register in the previous year, or
  • Late re-registrations (after the registration deadline for the current year).

2. Annual League Licence Fee

• This is the yearly membership fee that qualifies competitor’s for:
  •  event results to count toward the official league log;
    
  • league membership confirmation letter for as support for licence and competency applications;
  • Firearm licence application endorsements letter for support for SAHRSA applicable firearm licence applications;
  • league dedicated sport shooter status for qualifying league competitors;
  • league members discounts when on offer.
• If a member chooses not to register for the current year, they may still participate, but their results will not count towards the league log and the other qualifying benefits will laps.
• Once a competitor registers, they receive a lifetime membership/licence number.
• Licence fee is not recovered in arrears.

2025 Annual Licence Fee

• R850.00 (full amount payable before the annual deadline).

Prorated Licence Fee for First-Time New Members

If you are joining SAHRSA for the first time during the year, your licence fee will be prorated as follows (excluding the once-off R100 joining fee):

Discounts 

The following members qualify for reduced annual licence fees:

• Immediate family members (spouse or dependent children under 21): 50% discount
• Members aged 60 and over: 50% discoun
• Children under 14: 100% discount (free)

Family discounts apply only if linked to a registered main member.
